“Good Enough” Is Your Secret Weapon This Holiday Season

🎄 Let Go of Perfectionism & Enjoy the Holidays Stress-Free
The holidays can bring joy… and a mountain of stress.
From perfect decorations to hosting flawless celebrations, it’s easy to fall into the perfectionism trap. But here’s the truth:
✨ Perfection isn’t what makes the season meaningful—presence is.
That’s why I’m sharing a stress-free plan to let go of perfectionism and embrace “good enough” instead.
Your Holiday Stress-Free Plan:
1️⃣ The 80% Rule:
Instead of aiming for 100%, stop at 80%. That’s when the law of diminishing returns kicks in—no one notices the tiny “imperfections” but you.
2️⃣ Done > Perfect:
Whether it’s holiday cards, dinner menus, or wrapping gifts, remind yourself that done is better than perfect. What matters is the intention, not the flawless result.
3️⃣ Focus on Connection:
At the end of the day, no one will remember how “perfect” the table looked. They’ll remember how you made them feel.
4️⃣ Set Your “Good Enough” Boundaries:
Say no to overcommitting. Prioritize what truly matters to you and let go of the rest. Your peace of mind is worth it.
5️⃣ Create Memories Over Materialism:
Host a casual movie night instead of a formal dinner. Make cookies that taste good, not look perfect. Laugh at the burned edges. That’s where the joy lives.
This week, let one thing be “good enough”—even if it feels uncomfortable. Send me a reply and let me know how it felt.
Perfection steals joy. Let’s trade it for peace and presence.

Warmly,
Ethan Grant
